About our Alachigh tents

Our Alachigh is hemispherical shaped made over a wooden framework covered with fire retardant, water and rot proof canvas.

Traditionally decorated in the style of the nomadic tribe Shahsevan from northern Iran and includes a ground sheet and Hessian matting.

A wooden peg fixes in the centre of the tent to which the wooden wheel of the tent top is attached.

This is our largest tent similar in style to a Yurt however surprisingly quick to erect with the cleverly designed system.
